Led by the Light: The Autobiography of Mary Glenn Hadley
Shortly after graduating from nurses’ training, Mary Glenn Hadley traveled to Kenya, Africa to serve in a Friends mission hospital. In her autobiography, she shares both the challenges and the triumphs of her twenty years in Kenya, working first at Kaimosi hospital and then at Friends Bible Institute. After returning to the states her adventures continue. Despite a violent attack in her home and suffering several bouts of cancer, she lived a rich full life. The lighthouse became a symbol of both her dedication to following Jesus in her own life journey and her commitment to be a light to others.
